Now, for the longer version of this post. Recently, itch.io caved underneath the payment processors' pressure and caused untold amounts of "adult" content to become either delisted or deleted straight up. None of the Passerine Hills games got hit, thankfully, since they're not tagged as "adult". You might wonder why am I writing this post then.

Simply put, I am afraid that it will go under in the future. Passerine Hills was always meant to be a series for mature audiences, dealing with some messy and complicated subjects. I cannot decouple the story from "problematic" content - there isn't a lot of it in Just a Bite's demo but it will come up later. Unless I completely cut out Kaja+Tara's and Clare's routes, and censor the rest of the routes, it might be impossible for me to comply with every demand that's put on itch's creators.

This terrifies me. I love this series so much and I've been working on it practically without breaks for more than a year now. I'd hate to see it disappear. Therefore, I uploaded a copy of PHJAB (Amare Fest Version) to my Neocities page - you can access it through the link in TLDR. I don't know what I'll do with the itch.io version yet. I'll need to reread the terms and all, but it's somewhat likely that I won't be able to upload full, uncensored PHJAB on itch.io anymore, and it's likely that further installments will also have to be a subject of censorship. I don't want to do this. Neocities version will always remain uncensored, no matter what, so perhaps it'd be wise to go to this version instead.

Either way, I'm extremely tired, I'm scared, I don't know what to do anymore. Thank you for reading. I'm still working on scene 11's Holly's branch, which requires a lot of rewriting, if you wanted to know. Hope I can come to you with a better update soon.
